Wildfires
Over the last week or so I have noticed the rapidly raging wildfires in California
on television. How did they start? That I don't know; what I do know is that many wildfires are started by people carelessly tossing a cigarette butt out a window of a car
while driving down a street. What happens during a wildfire? Even though I have never been affected by a wildfire, I do know that they destroy beautiful landscape, take lives of all ages, and cause extra work for firefighters.
Wildfires destroy many acres or even miles of beautiful landscape. Trees, bushes,
grass, and many types of different plants and flowers are torched by the fires. Animals such as deer, birds, squirrels, and rabbits also loose their homes, but their not the only ones. People also...
