WHY ‘X’? (ESSAY)

Through my experiences in Education, Theatre, Community Service and Work Experience, I realize I want to impact not only my own intellectual and emotional growth but also to impact the world around me. In essence, I can sum up my own Personal Mission Statement as “To Make a Difference”. X’s commitment to ‘to a liberal arts education that challenges students to realize their full potential and make an impact on the world’, as stated in the college catalog, is the essence of both my personal and professional goals in life, along with celebrating and integrating differences.
