I have noticed that so far all my writing has been from a female perspective. Most obviously this is because it is from that view point that I have always understood life and it's surroundings. Also, living as one of three sisters in a somewhat matriarchal home the feminine plight has always been apparent to me. My Grandmother is comically anti-men and the member of the opposite sex my Mother most adores is our dog, Samuel Beckett! I know the burden of menstruation and the problems of hair removal and I am filled with awe when considering my capacity to produce. In many ways I would say men have an easy ride but instead of being grateful have disabled women further.
