Why Save a Weak Species?


Whether or not a species goes extinct is not important. If a species cannot adapt to its surroundings in order to survive, then it should not exist. One way to define extinction is that it is the end of the existence of a group of species, caused by their inability to adapt to changing environmental conditions. If a species has not evolved, in that if taken out of its habitat it cannot survive, then it should not exist.
Throughout the years, extinction has been a very sensitive and important topic in society. It has been frowned upon as negative process by many people, but why? Extinction is a natural process that cannot be controlled and therefore it should not matter that a species is either extinct or either on the verge of extinction.
