Why Pregnant Women Shouldn’t Drink


When it comes to the damaging and permanent effects of victims born with Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, a pregnant women shouldn’t drink at all because “no level of ethanol is guaranteed safe” according to the U.S. General. Even if a pregnant women drinks moderately, some psychologists and biochemists state from their findings that this irresponsible behavior can still cause a harmful effect on a human being’s potential. These victims aren’t able to live life to its full capacity, therefore, we are burdened as a society to help take of them. As taxpayers, we are left with this costly responsibility to train and educate these innocent victims.
When a pregnant women drinks, she is unaware of the life long hardship she is creating for herself and her unborn child. They do not know the frustration and grief that lies ahead of them. These victims are born with such severe physical disorders and impairments that these Mothers will ...
