Why I want to learn Physical Therapy at your school

I believe my volunteer experience at Westmoreland Regional Hospital and the Orthopedic and Sports Physical Therapy Association has been the most influential and beneficial thing I’ve done in my life. I’ve learned valuable lessons and developed a new passion for life. Spending time in both a hospital and a clinical setting, I discovered my deep compassion for others and my strong desire to help people. As a result, I have chosen physical therapy as my future career.
My experience at the hospital began with candystriping in the spring of 2000. My time in the Intensive Care Unit, the Progressive Care Unit, and the Short Stay Unit entailed filling patients’ water pitchers, opening mail, and stocking rooms.
