Why I got an A

I got an A in this class because I tried to become a better writer and I have. Since the first time I wrote the first writing assignment my writing skill has improve. I had run together sentences in every paragraph and comma slices every where, I still do but not as much.
In High School the teachers did not give writing assignments and we didn’t practice writing at all, that is why I am not a good writer and I struggle on writing assignments. I considered myself below average. And every time I write a writing its hard and spend a lot of time checking and making sure that is good enough to make an A on it.
