WHY DOES NAGEL BELIEVE THAT STRONG AA IS NOT SERIOUSLY UNJUST TO THOSE PERSONS WHO MISS OUT ON A UNIVERSITY POSITION OR A JOB GIVEN TO A BLACK.

From what I have managed to gather from Nagels beliefs on affirmative action, he states that at present time and in the past strong AA has been necessary to iron out the inequalities against blacks in our society. He stated that fortunately our society decided to accelerate the process of AA with strong institutional action instead of waiting a few hundred years for the imbalance to improve with weak AA.
