Why do we have to say the truth yet we die in the end?

A farmer plants a seed. He cultivated and took care of it. It grows to a fruit-bearing tree. He harvested it, and people benefited from the fruits of this tree. Eventually, the life of the tree will soon come to an end, like every living thing will. Because of external forces and nature, its life comes to an end.

If you look at the life of someone like Archbishop Oscar Arnulfo Romero who fought for the truth and justice in order that his fellow El Savadorans may experience comfort, freedom from oppression and love of God. The military and those who have power tried to use their status in order to gain authority over other people especially those who are less in life materially. He stood up for the truth and he never let anyone to get hurt or even to let blood to be shed. He knew what the people experienced, and that he believed that God would not allow such massive killing.
