When I Grow Up

Ever since I can remember, school has been a huge part of my life. When I was younger I used to love school and going to school was, to some extent, the highlight of my life at that time. I loved learning: reading, writing, math, everything and anything having to do with school. To me, school was an awesome place to be. Maybe it was the fact that my parents have pushed learning and school on me since I was little, or maybe I really simply yearned for knowledge. It’s unclear to me now, since those days of waking up eager and ready to go to school are long gone. The reasons I go to college now, however, are pretty clear to me: my parents & family wanted me to, my long term career goals, and the fact that I simply want to.
