What’s Good, And When Is There Too Much?

Starting in the late 1700’s, immigrants began flocking to American shores looking for hope and a new life and they have been coming ever since. It was this flow that provided the United States with its citizens today and benefited America in countless ways. However, today it seems that we might be to inviting and tempting to immigrants, possibly giving us to much of a good thing. On the other hand, some people still hold the idea that you can never have too much of a good thing and see immigrants as nothing but good welcoming them and trying to make their lives as easy as possible. While strict regulations on immigration are now in place, masses of illegal immigrants find their way onto US soil each year. Every year as the number of illegal immigrants in the US rises, the controversy surrounding them increases as well.
