What Motivates you to work

What motivates you to work? Everyone holds different values about work and needs different things in their job to feel satisfied and fulfilled. For some, that might be money, fame, power, social interaction or creative expression. For others, it could be intellectual challenge, helping others or independence. Pinpointing what motivates a person will help us plan a more fulfilling and productive career, and finding out what motivates our employees can help us create an environment they can thrive in. After all, Individual performance is the foundation of an organizational performance.
However, I believe motivation would still depend on the attitude of a person because in every career it is not sufficient to look just at a person’s skills and attributes, it is essential that our self-analysis also take in to account a person’s motivations, his attitude and behavior in the workplace.
