When I was in primary school, I was always picked on by the popular kids. I though that if I became friends with them, they would lay off and quit humiliating me in front of everyone. I was wrong though because the harder you tried to be in their crowd, the harder it was to be friends with them. They played games with you and made you feel less than a person. That is why I think that it is very unimportant to be accepted.

When people become popular, it is usually because they are accepted by a whole bunch of other students in their school.
