What is Truth?
Truth is in the eye of the beholder. In today’s society, truth is percepted as many different ideas by each type of person. In some ways truth is what one wants to believe is true, and in some it is what one truly knows is true. One’s opinion on truth could change as the person becomes more mature or more educated on his or her various thoughts.
Different groups in our society have diverse views on truth in ideas such as religion and every day activities.
Religion is accepted in multiple traditions; depending on where one is and his or her surroundings, religion may or may not be accepted or taught frequently. For most Americans, Christianity is the major religion and Jesus is the truth. Others believe in religions such as Methodist, Catholic, Pentecostal, and Buddhism.
