Since the Second World War in 1945 society has changed in many different ways. People felt liberated, and could do what they liked. One of the main changes that took place was the youth subculture. The youth subcultures before the Second World War were expected to follow into their parent’s footsteps. The boys were suppose to follow their father’s occupation (mainly the mining industry) and the girls were expected to follow their mothers by getting married young and staying at home.
However, after the world war young people started to change their lives, they made changes that still go on in today’s society.
