What is Human NAture?

This essay attempts to define human nature by examining ten possible causes and effects. A variety of social, religious, artistic, psychological, and philosophical ingredients are examined. These include conformity, love, belief systems, doubt, fear and subjugation of one self. The flawed thinking inherent, and possibly inevitable, in man's social nature is the cause of this so called ‘human nature.'
Human beings are social creatures, which causes them to conform to group norms. Humans' need for social interaction leads to a herding mentality. Eg.) Urbanization, sheep herds, villages, clans. "Social creatures depend on each other for survival. They learn survival skills by observing the other members in their group. Birds flock together as a group. When one member in the group perceives injury or threat, it responds by behaving in a way that will allow it to survive.
