What Is History?

In my essay I will explain to you my definition of history. I will also explain why it is important to study history. I will tell you different methods of how we learn about the past. I will tell you the different events in history that I think are important to study.
Some people say that history is an effort to reconstruct the past to discover what people thought and did and how their actions continue to influence human life today. But my opinion of history is a full detailed study of the world that is not only written but also the unrecorded parts, which will help us with our lives in the present.
