What is a play

Since the great tragedies of Aeschylus, Sophocles, and Euripides in the fourth century before our era, theaters and their architecture have changed considerably, but plays in their essence maintained the same characteristics. As in the past, the audience today can enjoy a story that is brought on stage by actors. It is understandable why theaters and theatrical performances still after many centuries are so popular. Most spectators agree that it is an unforgettable feeling to face a colorfully illuminated stage with live actors dressed in their bright costumes accompanied by excellent musicians and a sweet smell of perfume. Not surprisingly, performing art centers are full of people, some willing to learn and understand, some coming to relax and enjoy a quiet evening.
