What impresses us in the way in which Juliet matures so quickly as the action develops. By close examination of the text, illustrate this growing level of maturity.

During the play Shakespeare shows the transformation of Juliet. She goes from being a young, naïve and very immature girl but develops gradually into a mature young woman in the time span of one week.
What I find is that Juliet keeps changing back and forth from the personas she has been given. She begins very immature but when she meets Romeo, her true love she grows up. But this changes a few time throughout the play, for example, when Juliet sent the nurse after Romeo she acts immaturely and childish when the nurse returns.

Shakespeare shows how one individual can change and mature over a short period of time. The character of Juliet evolves from being very immature around her mother and the nurse, who from what we have seen have been treating her like a child and not like the young woman she is becoming.
It seems from the way Lady Capulet speaks to her daughter that they have a very formal relationship. Juliet in this scene also controls her language and the way she speak...
