The Gambler
I remember the day like it was yesterday. Mainly, because it was one of the worst days in my life. I had a really easy and nice life without any family trouble, school trouble, or even trouble with the law, but that doesn’t mean that my life is perfect. Threw high school I was always known as the school bookie or just simply the gambler. I always won and when I lost at anything it would be a surprise to everyone. I was never a exceptional athlete or a straight A student, and I was always a little too cocky for the girls. But I was incredible at gambling, the closet thing to a sure thing around. I could beat people at sports that are way better just because there was money at stake, and to be honest those people probably came to expect that. I could read just about anyone in a card game and could handicap a sporting event like no other.
