weeks vs. united states

Have you ever had someone go through you stuff without your permission? Well if you have you have a right to say something to them. It’s called the Fourth Amendment, illegal search and seizure. In the case Weeks vs. United States, that is exactly what Fremont Weeks is talking about. He went through a long process just to ensure his legal right.
On the morning of December 21, 1911 the police walked into the house of 1834 Penn Street owned by Fremont Weeks who wasn’t home at the time. The police found papers that said Weeks was running a small gambling operation. Soon afterwards the police arrested Weeks at Union Depot where he worked.
