Way to go Royals

Now that the Royals have drafted yet another high-profile prospect, Gatorade National High School Player of the Year Chris Lubanski, one has to ask “What will become of him?” I see two possible scenarios:


Scenario 1:
He'll hire Scot Boras as his agent and demand a signing bonus of roughly 4 million dollars, which will come directly out of next year’s payroll. Goodbye Carlos Beltran. He'll then struggle through his first year in the minors due to a severe back injury (which will plague him throughout his underachieving career). Nonetheless, the Royal's will call him up prematurely in August of 05 (due in large part to a trade that will send Ken Harvey and Raul Ibanez to the A's for a catcher who will ...
