WAT: Should Students Use an Agency to Work and Travel Abroad?

Summer changes from holidays to work and travel experiences for the majority of Slovak students. Most of them wish to work in the US to earn money, improve English language, meet new people, gain independence through experiences, and see many interesting places. To fulfill their dreams students can participate in Work and Travel Program established for this purpose. Nowadays, there are many Slovak agencies offering possibility to work and travel in the US. Agencies based their offers on receiving visa J-1, security card, job, accommodation and flight ticket. Usage of the agency is the best way how to receive US J-1 visa, avoid troubles with airlines but not to find job and accommodation to studentsŒ satisfaction.
It is much more easier to receive the US J-1 visa through the agency that to ask for them alone. The embassy is more willing to give you the visa if the agency stands behind you. Three of my friends alone asked for the visa four years ago when me and ten other friends...
