The Vietnam War was the longest and most unpopular, un-official, war in which Americans ever fought. It lasted nearly 10 years, from approximately 1963-1973; no one knows the exact date of when it started. The Vietnam was fought by American soldiers on Vietnam grounds against Communism and its spread. Vietnam has split into two parts, South Vietnam and North Vietnam, creating internal war. That’s when the U.S. decided to get involved and send in their troops. Many historians believe that America lost the war because of the Viet-Cons love and inspiration that they had to beat the U.S. troops. Instead the U.S. Army was fighting a war against itself. It corrupted itself with lies and deceit, it drowned its fears with drugs and it murdered its own in cold blood, resulting in the loss of the war.
It all started on August 4, 1964, through the Gulf of Tonkin Incident. Allegedly North Vietnamese battle ships were attaching the U.S. warships in the Gulf. Later on it was discovered that ...
