The study area that has been chosen for this particular assignment poses numerous challenges to create an effective land use plan that will allow for efficient planning with relation to the existing conditions, trends and planning issues. The following elements of the area in question show the greatest importance relating to the ability to plan the area for future urbanization.
1. Topography
The overall structure of the study area provides an abundance of physical land features that could prove to be challenging is creating a land plan. The area in question is dominated by gradual to moderately sloping terrain. Much of the area would not require much change in the landscape to allow for conventional development. Other areas of the landscape are not developable in their current form.
