Uranium

The chemical symbol of Uranium is U, and its atomic number is 92, its atomic mass is 238.0289, and its melting point is 1132 degrees Celsius. Uranium also has 16 isotopes. The largest naturally found isotope of Uranium in the Earth is Uranium 238. Uranium is the heaviest of all of the naturally occurring isotopes, weighing in at 18.7 times the density of water. Element number 92 has a half-life roughly the age of earth. Uranium is actually not common in the solar system, but it is the main source of heat inside the Earth’s crust. The elements natural color is gray, not green like I thought. It is also said to be one of the causes for continental drift. Uranium also occurs in the Earth’s waters, but since it costs a lot of money to filter it, it is not mined there.
