upside and downside of ambition

What is ambition? Ambition is an aim to achieve something that a person would want to be, or do to succeed in the future. Everyone has a goal that he/she wishes to accomplish. My major goals that I want to achieve are going to university, graduating as a mechanical engineer, be part of a crew or a group and work hard to help Canada advance in technology. Other goals or “dreams” that I sometimes think of attaining are purchasing a fast car (Ferrari), obtain a huge house and help stop war and create peace between countries.

There are always advantages and disadvantages of ambition. One advantage of going to university is, after graduating the person gets a high quality profession, and by getting a high quality profession, the person gets more money. A disadvantage is working hard, focus on studying, least enjoyment and also the person must graduate from university with a high degree.
