The University considered such innovations as waste of time and money. The Faculty of Economics, which I graduated from, consisted of professors who, not so long ago, had been strongly anti-capitalism and had believed in the superiority of the communist economic system. They were struggling to make sense of capitalism and the market economy. As the result, University had no assistance program for student¨ˆs personal and professional development. I decided to help the Faculty and approached the Dean. He was open to my approach and explained the complicated nature of University¨ˆs political undercurrents.
