During my life, I’ve found many things wrong with current laws and rules in our society. I’ve always felt that the government should run things just a little different. Upon getting older, I realized that a lot of this rules and laws are necessary to run society. Still I feel some rules and laws could be modified in a way that would benefit everyone.

One of these laws that I believe should be changed would be the age of adulthood. As it currently stands, a citizen of the United States technically reaches adulthood when they are 18. They are also granted the right when they are 16 to be able to drive, and on the same note, are not granted the full rights of adulthood until the age of 21.

Some of the rights that are withheld from citizens after the age of 18 are the right to drink alcoholic beverages, the right to rent some hotel rooms, the right to rent cars, etc.
