United States getting involved into middle eastern affairs

What would you say to critics who claim the United States has no business getting involved into the affairs of Middle Eastern nations? I would say there are many reasons why they should get involved. The first reason is that Middle Eastern nations depend on the United States. The second reason is that the United States should fix the political and Economical problems of the Middle East, so there could be world peace. A good example of why the United States should get involved in the affairs of the Middle Eastern nations is the Palestine and Israeli conflict.

Even after independence, Arab nations in the Middle East remain economically dependent on the United States. The people in the West own banks and industries. They provide the capital and technology needed for development, and also the principal market for exports. For example, British mapmaking created Iraq, a nation that never existed before.
