Underage Drinking

Underage drinking has been an issue for many years and will continue to remain an issue as long as we continue to go in the direction that we are going. We need to accept drinking instead of prohibiting teenage consumption. Teenagers, by their very nature, are attracted to the thought of doing forbidden things. I remember when I was little, my mom told me not to touch the cake that had just come out of the oven. Out of curiosity of not being able to do something, I burned myself. If the drinking age was lowered back to it’s original age of 18 or even abolished, teens would more than likely lose this rebelliousness.
Why are we one of the biggest and best nations to live in but have the greatest alcohol abuse problem?
