The United States Citizenship and Immigration Services department (USCIS) follows the US economic trends to improve the American lives by setting and applying the immigration rules, (USCIS). More than half of the US doctors and engineers employed in the US are foreign students who graduated in the US, (The US department of Labor), so America is benefiting from those foreign students in supplying enough graduates to the US labor force. The USCIS set an application procedure for the foreign student to get a student visa, called the F-1 visa; and another strategy is set by the USCIS to ensure that the foreign student is focused on completion a major of studies within a limited time frame, called the F-1 visa status. F-1 visa regulations are relevant for the foreign student to succeed in the US; yet, the Lebanese student is facing discrimination while applying to the F-1 visa permission, and hardship after the F-1 visa issuance.
