Illegal immigration has been a problem in the United States for a long time now. Companies hiring illegal workers have been hurting the U.S. work force. It is nearly impossible for a legal citizen to compete salary wise with an illegal immigrant. Those legal workers that are working in the same plants as illegal workers have to work for less than half of what they should be making if the company was running a legitimate business. It is a tough battle that both the government and employees have been fighting.
The government has had Tyson Foods under investigation for the past two years for conspiring with recruiters and smugglers of illegal immigrant workers. It has been claimed by legal factory workers that Tyson Foods have been hiring illegal workers thereby diminishing their rate of pay.
