Turning Point in Life

Life is always full of ups and downs, and at times, a person would hit the climax of his life. Whether it is a negative climax or a positive climax it will turn the other way. Nothing can stay positive or negative forever and there are points in everyone’s life when he feels his best or his worst. The turning point of my life was when my father finally stopped gambling and became the responsible father that he was supposed to be. Life is tough and it is when it is at its toughest time that one must hold on and be strong.
At the age of fifteen, my mother told me how my father was when I was a child because she could not stand him anymore. From the day I could remember, my father had always gambled. My family use to live in Reno, Nevada, an area that consisted of many gamblers. When I was one year old, I had one older sister and she was two years old. Many nights my father would go to work, leaving my mother to take care of my sister and me, and would just go gamble afterwards. N...
