Turbo confectionary

The confectionary product my group is advertising is ‘TURBO’, an energy sports bar.
The packaging has an explosion showing that TURBO is an explosion of energy. This is important if the product is to succeed in its market as its packaging must make it stand out from the competition on the shop shelf. The large letters used give connotations that TURBO is a bold, strong bar that is big in taste and big in energy. This is created by the use of the large bold letters.
The locations used show TURBO is for active, sporty people. We are using a football pitch for the football advert. We are also using a male youth’s bedroom in the weightlifting advert to show that the product is aimed at young males.
We use young males in the adverts so that the audience can see that average people use the product, also the younger audience may aspire to be like the actors, creating aspirational value, and hopefully females will be sexually attracted to the actors creating the impres...
