Tupac poems

Two works of literature often times resemble each other even if they have a different author, or were written at a different time. The book Ethan Frome by Edith Warton resembles the Poem “2 People with 1 Wish” by Tupac Shakur. These two works of literaure talk about people that really want to be together because of all the love they have for each other.

In the story Ethan Frome, we see how Ethan and Mattie want to be together but cant because of many obstacles. The first obstacle is that Ethan is married to Zenna. Even though he does not love her, he stills asumes the responsibility of taking care of her and making sure that she has what she needs. The second obstacle is that Zenna is very sick and if they left she would be left alone and no one would be there to take care of her. Another factor for them not being able to be together was that Ethan did not have any money to support them if they decided to leave and try and be together.
