Tuition Increases

If Clarion University of Pennsylvania wants to remain an affordable university they should not raise student tuition fees for the 2004- 2005 school year. In doing so it may lead to irreparable harm to the student body and may actually lead to a decline in student enrollment at Clarion University and many other state universities.

If tuition fees are raised for the 2004-2005 school year many college students who are on their own or have families of their own to support financially will have greater difficulties in finding there aid to continue their career in college. Financially, college is already to expensive for many people. Having to apply for grants and take out additional loans may lead to more unneeded stress in the process of applying for college.
