Truth

One Must Always Speak The Truth
It is said that truth is many sided, for different people view different sides. But this is a false conception of truth, for how can it then be absolute? The conclusion, therefore, is that either absolute truth does not exist or we do not want to know it, for it is a hindrance in our lives. In this regard, I would like to ask, how could we speak the truth if we do not even know its credibility? It is clear now that it is impossible for us, with diminutive knowledge, to “always speak the truth”.
There is no need to dwell on the fact that truthfulness is a duty. Everyone will agree that it is our duty to tell the truth, and that all falsehood and lying is morally wrong. This we admit at any rate in theory, even though we are not always truthful in practice.
