Trial of Grievance

Fourteen freshman stand atop the hill in front of the Pi Kappa Phi house at five in the morning before dawn. The sun has yet to rise, but casts a faint glow on each of them. All of them are shivering, and trying their best to look like they want to be there. Each of their faces tells a different story of how the feel, for they know what is about to come. Most of the features show a scared freshman, but some of them look excited, and some of them appear to already be sick. In front of them, four of the Pi Kappa Phi brothers stare at them. Their faces and posture tell a different story; but they know what is coming as well. Occasionally they would cast a hard glance at one the pledges, which is followed by a cringing or cowering from the pledge. They all know that something bad will happen unless they bow to the will of each of the brothers.
