transportation design process

The project has been an exercise in thinking and executing new modes of transportation or moving products, through building forms and finding the inherent functions within them.
The project started by making several sketch models made from chipboard, wire, and mesh. From those forms a deductive process is implemented by choosing five models to move on with. Supplementary drawings are also done to help define form and function. The five models were then colored and textured. The coloring served to bring out form while the texture layering serves to accentuate important aspects.
Three models are chosen and duplicated from the five models as the models to investigate further. The criteria for the selections are to pick two favored models while the third model was to be a form that was not liked. The purp...
