Transit Officers

Thank you ladies and gentlemen, I am here to address the issue of transit officers on public transport. This issue has been a topic of debate for the last few weeks and I feel strongly like many other individuals in the community that they are abusing their authority.

We have all see them in the media lately under scrutiny, because of the way they are going about doing their jobs. The most recent event nearly cost a young boy his life. He jumped of a moving train because he was so intimidated by the inspectors. The way the inspectors conducted themselves after the incident was appalling. The amount of time it took them to notify emergency services was just not good enough. They didn’t even tell the train driver to stop the train. If that was my child out there on the track injured, I know that I would certainly be disgusted and outraged as I am sure many of you would be.
