Tom and Huck
Tom Sawyer is the one of the main characters in the move, “Tom and Huck.” Tom is an orphan who lives with his Aunt Holly and cousin Sid. His Aunt and cousin love Tom but they know he is a disobedient child who doesn’t like to mind folks. Aunt Holly tries her best to raise him, as his mother would wish for, but Tom’s idea is quite different, he has a spirit of his own. He wants to be a riverboat pirate who runs amuck and robes and steals. Of course this doesn’t happen in the movie but the idea of being an outlaw appeals to his imagination. In this story Tom comes across many people, most of the towns people do not respect Tom or trust him because he is portrayed as a dreadful boy who doesn’t listen or take anything serious. Tom does however meet a long lost friend who then becomes an ally and soon after becomes one of the best’s friends ever. Huck, Tom’s friend accepts Tom for just who he is, which no ...
