Truth is never hidden in the eyes of God. But in the our world where prejudice and discrimination is present, truth can be manipulated and it’s delay can destroy a man’s life. To Kill A Mockingbird proves how prejudice is present in our lives and how it masked truth because of deprived justice.
Many scenes made a major impact in the story. Atticus’s stance at the door of the jail before Tom Robinson’s trial is symbolic of his role throughout the story. The night is dark, like the culture of bigotry and ignorance in Maycomb. Atticus’s light illuminates the night, as Atticus strives to teach his community the truth and expose their unfairness.
