To Kill a Mockingbird.

Atticus, a man of law, a loving father and a person who could make a difference in the world we live in. Atticus is the type of man that could teach you a million and one lessons on how to live your life. He is the father of two children, Jem and Scout, who has lost his wife and struggles to teach his children the true values of living. From the novel I believe that Atticus is like the main character, he is the one person that stood out from the rest as the ‘top dog’, not only as a father but a person in society.

Atticus is a fair and just man; he lives his life according to his own beliefs and no one else’s. In the novel, he tries to teach his children to go about their daily lives, do what is right and treating people the way that you would want to be treated. There are many events that happen in the novel, that not only does Atticus teach his children, but also, we too as the readers can learn.
