Have you ever wonderd what it was like to be a kid in the 1970's, well the book To Kill a

Mocking Bird would be the book for you. This book is about two young children Jem, and

Scout. Jem and Scout are brother and sister who like to play interesting games with their friend

Dill during the summer, where most of the book happens. They live in a city called Marycoam.

There father Atticus is a laywer and is very wise. I say this not only because its true but because

other people also think its true. Also how he goes about his life, and actions he does you can

tell. And the last reason the wise things he says.


The first thing that I noticed was that all the people of Marycoam have good things to say

about him. I think this is the most improtant thing of all and that is that people respect him
