Art does something for me that nothing else does. It gives me a different perspective on life. When I look at an object, I see it for it’s shapes and colors rather than just the object itself. I observe the smallest most insignificant things, and then notice that they aren’t as insignificant as I thought. I then store the patterns in my mind and use them as a reference for future projects. I draw mostly because it is fun. Every always says, if you need to work, it is great to find work that you love doing and that you can make a living at. That is my dream.
My parent’s tell me I was born with a pencil in my hand and to this day illustration with pencil and charcoal are my favorite mediums to use when creating my artwork. It allows for a great deal of detail work and I feel pencil, as well as charcoals give you greater control.
