Golf is a gentleman’s game, it is a game of etiquette, self-discipline, and tradition. It tests your coordination, strength, timing, resilence, and above all your patience. To excel at golf requires not only exceptional athletic ability, but incredible mental toughness.
In a game where you must make a little white ball travel 400 yards in a straight line through the air; over trees, water, sand, and various manmade hazards; all while systematically calculating wind speed, your lie ( how the ball lays in the grass, sand, etc.), your yardage, and just exactly how well your swinging on that particular day. All this information must then be processed and sorted out before you take a swing of the club. All these calculations must then be jammed into one quick, simple thought, and executed as gracefully and instinctively as possible, from a stand still.
