This is Goodbye!

In a quiet neighborhood two young children grew up with each other living next to one another. Jazz, 19 and Rakim 18, had lived next to each other since they were born. Jazz lived by herself as she was brought up by foster parents till the age of 17, they then moved away but Jazz wanted to stay. She did not know who her real parents were as she was put in an orphanage at the age of two. Rakim her best friend had his father pass away when he was 16. Rakim had a heart condition that he thought was not serious enough for a doctor, up until he was 18 he was told by a doctor that he had less than a year left in his life.

The two spent their lives going to the same schools having the same friends doing practically the same things. Jazz and Rakim, Ray as Jazz called him knew everything about each other and were like brother and sister. Rakim’s family helped Jazz grow up, as her foster parents did not care about her like Rakim’s family did.
