Things I cant let go

So I am sitting here at work both bored off my ass and bored out of my mind. So I begin thinking. Amazing isn’t it!@ I remembered back to elementary school and when my teacher was showing us how to make the number 8. She was demonstrating the proper, well, figure 8 technique. Then she set us hard at work scribbling out our own 8’s on a sheet of paper. When you thought you had the best looking 8, you were supposed to bring it to her desk.

So there I was banging out these great looking 8’s. I stand up and swagger over coolly to her desk. I see other kids walk away with smiles on their faces and I am prepared for the big thumbs up for my own work. She looks my paper ove...
