Every 28 days and ovum is released from one of a womans ovaries. This is just general, eveyone is diffrent
Once released into the vaginal canal, sperm remain viable for up to 6 days Conception actually takes place in the fallopian tube where sperm and ovum unite to form the zygote.
Zygote - What the egg and sperm are called as soon as they unite. (the egg takes the spem into its self and then seals off)
Period of the Zygote
Lasts about 2 weeks, from fertilization untill the cell mass drifts out of the fallopian tubes and attaches itself to the uterine wall. About 50 % never get beyone the first week ago, usually because it does not attact to the uterine wall.
